Jardins d’Arménie: The Armenian spirit of modern luxury
Blending heritage and innovation, Jardins d’Arménie Royal Brandy made its official European debut in Monaco, introducing a new chapter in the story of Armenian craftsmanship. At just 27, Armen Pogossian redefines what modern luxury means – rooted in authenticity, guided by legacy.

In Monaco’s Hôtel Hermitage, beneath the Belle Époque chandeliers, a new chapter of craftsmanship unfolded. Jardins d’Arménie Royal Brandy made its official European debut in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and the Ambassador of Armenia to France, Arman Khachatryan. More than a launch, it was a statement – a meeting between heritage, innovation, and the art of refinement.
For Armen Pogossian, CEO of Cigaronne and Newline Brands Global LLC, this project carries the weight of both family tradition and national pride. “Jardins d’Arménie is the expression of our history, our art, and our savoir-faire.
Each sip embodies the strength of our land and the finesse of our craftsmanship. To unveil it in Monaco, in the presence of H.S.H. Prince Albert II, is a powerful symbol: sharing Armenian excellence with Europe,” he said.

From heritage to innovation
The inspiration, Armen Pogossian explains, came from a simple yet ambitious desire: to create something unmistakably Armenian, but capable of standing among the world’s finest spirits. “Jardins d’Arménie isn’t just another brandy – it’s the first Royal Brandy,” he said.
Unlike cognac or traditional brandy, it is crafted from the indigenous Voskehat grape and aged through a distinctive three-stage process – first in oak, then apricot wood, and finally again in oak. This sequence gives the spirit its remarkable depth, blending notes of chocolate, vanilla, fruit, and dried fruit – a sensory portrait of Armenia’s terroir.
“The apricot tree is part of our identity,” Armen Pogossian adds. “Its wood gives the brandy a warmth and character you won’t find elsewhere.”

A new definition of authentic luxury
The bottle and presentation reflect the same level of thought. The handcrafted case and patented tasting set redefine how connoisseurs experience fine spirits. “Luxury should never be superficial,” he said.
“Our box is handmade from sustainable materials and comes with tasting glasses that allow you to sample the aroma before opening the bottle. It challenges conventions – we want people to buy Jardins d’Arménie for its taste and craftsmanship, not for status. The design embodies elegance, discipline, and sincerity – the pillars of our house.”
For Armen Pogossian, whose family has shaped luxury products for over three decades, Jardins d’Arménie marks both continuity and evolution.
“My vision is to reinterpret Armenian heritage through innovation and craftsmanship so that it resonates globally,” he said. “Armenia has always been known for its artistry and resilience – now it’s time to show that spirit to the world.”
From the vineyards of Armenia to the salons of Monte-Carlo, Jardins d’Arménie Royal Brandy bridges tradition and modernity, offering a new perspective on what luxury can be: sincere, cultural, and enduring.
